Your Go-To Guide for AllMedRx
Compounded Medications & Ordering

Welcome to the AllMedRx Help Hub!

We’ve put together answers to the questions we get most often, from how our sterile compounding process works to how to order, ship, and safely use your prescribed medications.

About AllMedRx & 503A Sterile Compounding

What is a 503A licensed sterile compounding pharmacy?

A 503A pharmacy creates custom medications for individual patients based on a doctor’s prescription.
At AllMedRx, we follow strict USP <797> and USP <800> guidelines in our sterile cleanroom and use ingredients sourced only from FDA-registered facilities.
Unlike 503B outsourcing facilities, which produce medications in bulk for office use, a 503A pharmacy like AllMedRx focuses on personalized, patient-specific treatments under physician supervision.

We combine the science of sterile compounding with personalized care.
Here’s what sets us apart:

  • Patient-specific compounding under USP <797>/<800> standards
  • APIs sourced from FDA-registered suppliers
  • Rigorous quality assurance and environmental monitoring
  • 25-state licensure for safe, accessible delivery
  • Compassionate support from experienced pharmacists who truly care

Medication Use & Handling

How do I self-administer a prescribed sterile injection?

Always follow your prescriber’s instructions. General steps often include:

  1. Clean the vial stopper with an alcohol swab.
  2. Draw the prescribed dose with an appropriate insulin syringe (e.g., 1 mL, 30–31 G).
  3. Remove air bubbles and inject subcutaneously into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm.
  4. Dispose of sharps safely in an approved container.

Unless your label states otherwise, store refrigerated at 36–46°F (2–8°C).
Protect from light, do not freeze, and follow the beyond-use date (BUD) on the label.

For best safety and sterility, draw each dose immediately before use unless your prescriber gives you different instructions.
